We had been praying for Rocio's daughter, who suffered the loss of her finger when it was slammed in the door. Several hours had passed before it was able to be sewn back on and the doctors were skeptical whether the tissue would revive and we were praying for this. I just wanted to let everyone know that her finger is healing and the grafting of her finger was a success.
On the way home from Arlington tonight, we could not comfort Ella Ruth (3 mos). After stopping twice to feed her and change her diapers, we proceeded despite her despair. We got to a point where it was not safe to stop again due to narrow roads and no cell phone service. I asked Brendan (7) and Kelsey (4) to pray for Ella while I prayed God would reveal Himself to them. Two minutes passed with continued crying, then silence. God answers even the prayers of children! You are NEVER too young to call upon Him!
